After finishing the summer season headlining many popular festivals, it only makes sense that they perform at one of the last big events of the year. They set the energy level extremely high for the rest of the acts during their fifteen minute set, in which they played three of their most up-beat songs. They had great energy and the setlist was everything I could ask for! The band has been on the road touring in support of their latest album High As Hope which was released on June 29th of this year and has been met with praise from critics and fans alike. Alternative rock band Muse has a brand new album coming out on November 9, titled Simulation Theory. The band kept the crowd energized when frontman Dan went through the crowd on the floor, stopping to sing in certain sections with thousands of fans surrounding him.

The show was well timed and began at 7pm sharp as promised, the time between sets were nearly nonexistent thanks to a good crew and rotating stage which allowed for 5 hours of uninterrupted music. Presents Not So Silent Night was everything but silent, such a great show with a diverse top notch line up filled with superstars galore. On the rail inside the venue, fans shared the same sentiment on the barricade many in one way or another saying they felt a connection to Mike Shinoda after the loss of Chester and seeing Mike live is was a way of honoring the lost vocalist.
The brothers took to the stage with their high energy pop dance sound and had the entire crowd dancing along. As for their live show, Lauren Mayberry dances effortlessly across the stage letting out high pitch vocals all while twirling, whipping her hair and even letting the crowd sing along a bit. He filled his set with a mix of mashups and covers, but there was one real moment that stood out towards the end. Can we take a moment? The band crushed through an 8 song set that had some fans in a trance and most definitely slowed the tempo of the night down. He began by building the rhythm section from the ground up before the song came together and the entire band joined in.
Florence is in the midst of promoting her latest album, High As Hope , which took her to Barclays Center for a recent show on October 9. Entertaining jam like beginning before Benjamin took to the piano in the back of the stage to begin his vocal duties. During his set, he paid tribute to his former band member, the late Chester Bennington. They brought the crowd down to their level, which boasts a more chill and relaxed vibe. The set began and was a tribute to honor their friend, Scott Hutchison who sadly passed away; Benjamin Gibbard declared this set is dedicated to Scott. One of my favorite concerts. It was a truly beautiful tribute to a music legend. Tickets for the concert are on sale now. Even on a stripped down version of their usually over the top stage production, Remained energetic and perfect. Would recommend them for sure. Her live vocals — dare we say — are better than her recorded vocals.
Death Cab for Cutie also found themselves in New York City in support of their latest album, Thank You For Today , which dropped in August. They are likely to play many new tracks from this release at the event. Great crowd, electric vibrant atmosphere, excellent choice of songs knew pretty much all of them so I could sing to them and the boys were in top form! During the tribute, the entire arena joined in unison and waved their flashlights on their phones back and forth while singing the lyrics. A really well-done performance, in my opinion. If you've seen Florence + the Machine live before, you know it's all typical for her, but that never makes it any less impressive.
The stacked night comes at a perfect time for several of the artists billed to perform. Death Cab For Cutie followed suit with a near-flawless performance, keeping us all on our toes with songs from throughout their discography even in such a short time frame. The show followed an intimate secret set Florence performed early this summer in Greenpoint to fans from Spotify Premium a few days before her album released. The crowd clearly excited and ready to embrace Florence Welch and company. Alt-rock Throwback With Foster The People By the time Foster The People took the stage a little later in the evening, the packed venue was already a few beers deep and a few performances in, so they were more than ready to crank up the volume. As Welch ran back and forth across the stage and flawlessly hit note after note, you can see fans with a look of awe in their faces.
The night, which featured eight acts over the course of five hours, kicked off with a brief set by indie pop trio , who made the most of the 15 minutes allotted them as fans trickled in to the Barclays Center. The in Brooklyn was filled with alternative rock fans from the New York Metro Area on Thursday who were all there to catch a handful of headline-worthy artists playing Radio. Ok, ok, now back to the show. Florence practically floated across the stage barefoot in her light green dress like a true goddess. The album a journey about strength, loss, and rebuilding has struck a chord with not only fans of and but plenty of new ones along the way. Mike hyped the crowd up like no other.
